The growth and development of student-athletes through the medium of basketball.
As an active and supportive member of the greater Seattle community, I am committed to collaboratively work with all stakeholders to ensure student-athletes are empowered for leadership and service in a diverse world. Furthermore, I will be persistent in creating an athletic setting in which students, staff, and community are welcomed, safe, challenged and motivated to achieve the Edmonds School District mission statement, “To advocate for all students by providing a learning environment which empowers students, staff and the community to maximize their personal, creative and academic potential in order to become lifelong learners and responsible world citizens.”
All student-athletes will more successfully reach their full educational potential and become positive, contributing members to society as the result of participating in this program.
I firmly believe all student-athletes can realize their full educational potential and are capable of becoming positive and contributing members of society. As our society evolves and changes, our various educational institutions must also advance with change and develop strategies, curriculum, and schoolhouses which help students realize their full potential. Any basketball program must be equally committed to progress. By developing a comprehensive program, in which all feel empowered, student-athletes will be motivated to seek out and explore areas off the basketball court in which they may realize their full educational, personal, and physical potential.
